It’s not just about wrong and right,
An interloper arrived in plain sight,
Stole into my most intimate night,
Left me barren and unaware,
I was love-blind,
And, you were cloaked in plain sight.
I was robbed of my trust,
By stealth, you took all that was cherished!
All I had to give!
Taken--with depraved indifference….
Now I face unintended consequences,
As a looking-glass in a black box,
No one else, but I, can see,
When the box is opened,
Thief glares back at me.
I like the painting who’s the artist? ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming to my site. Gee, I don't know who the artist is. Got any ideas? I love you Mom
