This is Part 2 of a three-part exploration into Passion, Fire, and
Magic presented in Amy Cesari's Coloring Sheets for Beltane Tarot.

Five Ways to Fuel Your Fire

If Passion is the driving force to create, then Fire is the fuel to
propel your passion forward.  Fire is energy.  It is this unquenchable
energy that makes you want to achieve your passions--regardless of
the consequences.

Do you feel like the definition of insanity?  That is, doing the same
thing over and over again, but expecting a different result? According
to Code (2013, Sept 16), humans like to feel stable in their existence,
being consistent, staying within their comfort zones.  Over time, our
fires dim and soon go out.

What to do?

1.  Comfort zones are survival modes.  Identify what is keeping you
within the bounds of predictability.  Explore the fears that are
holding you back from doing what it is you truly see yourself
doing and becoming.  Then, do it!

Keep this saying in mind:

You can't walk on water if you won't get out of the boat.

2.  Bazin (2011-2020) asserts the best way to find your fire is to
connect with positive-thinking and like-minded people--especially
those with your interests.

On the other hand, be prepared for disconnecting from those who
would anchor you to your present stable, comfort zone existence.

You can't walk on water if you are wearing concrete shoes.

3.  Bazin (2011-2020) suggests limiting interests that no longer serve
to fire-up your passions.  Narrow and focus on a few specific interests
that fuels your passions and master them.

Too many irons in the fire often indicate that some activities
may not get done.

4.  Bradt (n. d.) offers a futuristic reflection on fire and passion.  He states
that we should accept that what fired-up our passions in our younger days
may not be the same flame when we grow older.

Boats change over time, but you alone steer your course.

5.  Think of the greater purpose and focus your fire on how to help
others achieve their passions.

Help others to get out of their boats and walk on water, too.
